The Boston Foreign Club and our guests were treated by excellent weather for our annual golf outing on Tuesday, June 4th. It was our 9th year in a row holding this event at Sandy Burr Country Club, Wayland, MA and once again their golf course was in great shape, complemented by access to food at an outdoor grill and refreshments at the turn between the 9th and 10th holes. We greatly appreciate what Sandy Burr has provided our tournament over the years: flexibility, excellent quality food and beverage, support as needed at the welcome table and our setup at the 10th hole, and a level of customer service consistent at every level by their staff- before, during, andfor the post-golf portion of our tournament. This year we had almost 100 golfers take part in the event, well over 20 hole sponsorships, and many prizes including a chance for foursomes to win $1000 at the 10th hole, a free foursome at Sandy Burr as well as to another quality golf course in the area.  A combination of legacy supporters, golfers as well as new companies and players, attended this year’s event. The time put aside, and support, by many companies and people in our industry were very much appreciated.

Our next event will be a Harbor Cruise on Thursday, June 27th at Rowes Wharf just behind the impressive Boston Harbor Hotel. It will involve 3 hours on Boston Harbor, a buffet on the spacious Music City Queen boat, as well as music, and access to beverages while on the harbor.   There is parking at the Boston Harbor Hotel, as well as very affordable parking option beginning at 5:00 pm at 11 International Place. We look forward to this particular event which normally involves excellent weather, and a chance to meet and hang out at one of the most enjoyable locations in the city.
